Hi, I'm Melissa Armour, Founder of Your Right Hand Mel—and you can call me Mel!

A while back, I was given the job title “corpus callosum”—the part of the brain that helps the two hemispheres communicate. It made us laugh, but it stuck because it felt true. I’ve always gravitated toward roles where I’m connecting people, ideas, and processes—helping things run a little smoother as a behind-the-scenes support warrior.
 

I’ve spent the last 25+ years working in project and operations management across all kinds of industries, and quickly realized that supporting small businesses is where I feel most at home. The energy, the passion, the messy middle of making things work—I love it. Starting Your Right Hand Mel felt like the right next step.
 

It’s probably no surprise that I love puzzles. I’m also a creator and a maker (with plenty of supplies to show for it!). I love both the sand and the snow, quiet river views and the electric energy of a big city, the comfort of routine and the inspiration and adventure of travel. And along the way, I collect heart rocks :)
